[DB!-Announce] Volunteers still needed for the bike/film/beer festival Friday July 23

Greetings!

We're looking for a few more volunteers for the "Clips of Faith" Beer and
Film Tour, sponsored by New Belgium Brewery, to be held at Davis Central
Park on Friday, July 23. Proceeds will benefit the Davis Bike Collective and
Davis Bicycles!

We could use some additional volunteers for:

   - Setup between 12noon and 5pm
   - Pouring beer and ID check between 6:30 and 11pm
   - Clean-up, 11 - 12:30am

You will get a T-shirt and yes, some of the beer will be reserved for
volunteers to sample after they
are finished with their tasks!

The 2010 "Clips of Faith Beer and Film Tour <http://www.clipsoffaith.com/>,"
a celebration of creative
expression in brewing and film, is coming to Davis on Friday, July 23 from
7:30-10:30 pm, at Central Park.

This will be a fundraising effort for two local bicycle advocacy and service
organizations, Davis Bicycles! <http://www.davisbicycles.org> and the Davis
Bike Collective <http://www.davisbikecollective.org> (the
organization in charge of Bike Forth at 4th and L Streets). It's both a
music and film festival, with bicycling-related films, together with tasting
of rare offerings of exotic beers. These are brewed by New Belgium Brewing
Company, and some are available only on the Clips of Faith Tour. Samples of
up to 15 beers will be available in 3 oz portions. The films to be shown
were selected in a recent film competition. Beers are drawn from a series of
"hard to get" New Belgium brews and will be available for an hour prior to
the films. Similar events are planned for 13 other US cities including
Madison WI, Missoula MT and Eugene OR, each benefiting local bicycling
organizations.
