*November DB! Announcements

Interested in starting a bike repair cooperative in Davis?
Or what is happening with the 5th Street corridor and how you can provide
input?
Come to the Davis Bicycles! project meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The first
hour of the meeting, from 7 to 8pm, will be devoted to planning for a Davis
bicycle repair cooperative. We will have presentations from the Sacramento
Bike Kitchen and the Bike Church on the UCD campus followed by discussion
and work to forge some solid actionable ideas. The second hour of the
meeting, from 8 to 9pm, will be devoted to the Fifth Street corridor (see
http://www.ci.davis.ca.us/5thstreetcorridor/). We will review the workplan
scope the City Council approved and learn what input the City is hoping to
receive at this phase of the plan. We will send another e-mail as we get
closer to the 19th, with more details, including the location.

The Bicycle Advisory Commission is changing its meeting date, time and
