Davis Community Scrapbook*
All through November, there will be a display of the Davis Community
Scrapbook in Davis City Hall. One of the display cases will be devoted
entirely to bike stories, songs, poems, paintings, photographs with signage.
Needed: your 350-word or less bike story, poem, painting, or photo. You
all have many. They should be Davis related or Davis Bicycles! related.
Ideas - how you love your bike, a bike person who has inspired you, a
favorite ride, close calls, squirrel collision, turkey standoff in the
cemetery, etc.
Davis Community Scrapbook is a collection of short stories, anecdotes, songs
poems, photos and paintings, all about Davis. Check it out on the
web<http://DavisCommunityScrapbook.org>.
Over 100 submissions have been collected from Davisites ages 7 – 97 and they
hope for hundreds more. Your contributions will help expand bike
consciousness and will be exhibited right where our elected officials and
staff will view them daily.
