[Davis Bicycles Announcements]

Three great bike related events coming up in the next couple of weeks. Come
on out to one or all and meet your fellow Davis Bicyclists!

*Bicycle Advisory Meeting*
Monday, July 21, 7:00 pm
Veterans Memorial Center Game Room
In addition to the open house announced previously, there will be a number
of interesting items on the agenda, including a review of existing bicycle
parking guidelines, a review of current bicycle design standards from the
existing bicycle plan, and discussion of city capital improvement projects.

*The Sprockettes*
Wednesday, July 23, 8:00 pm
E Street Plaza
The Sprockettes are an all female synchronized mini-bike dance troupe. They
have performed from San Francisco to Vancouver B.C., toured in a veggie oil
powered bus, held workshops and skill shares, received national media
recognition and inspired international bike dance teams.

*Ride the Bike Loop*
Tuesday, July 29, 6:30 pm
Start: Community Park, across from Rainbow City
The Davis Bike Loop is one year old! But it is in need of repainting and
here is your chance to help improve the markings. Come ride the Loop with
Tara Goddard, City Bike/Ped Coordinator, and prepare the loop for repainting
by reviewing good and bad points, counting markings, looking for signage
opportunities, and just chatting about bike issues.
