[DB!-Announce] Discrimination against birding by bike!

[Davis Bicycles Announcements]

Dear Lois:

About ten years ago, when the Yolo Basin Wetlands opened and President
Clinton came to visit, I protested publicly that bicycles were not allowed
in the wetlands themselves, even though automobiles were.  More than ten
years later, this misguided policy hasn't changed.

Please read the attachment. I would appreciate some answers and/or action
to undo this foolish policy.  I am also sending this position statement to
Davis Bicycles!, The Yolo Audubon Society, the Yolano Group/ Sierra Club,
and the Davis Bike Club.
